Sarah Bishop joined the Woodruff Arts Center’s leadership team in January 2024 where she oversees the organization’s executive and development communications strategy, with a focus on awareness, public relations, and brand management.
Sarah is deeply passionate about strengthening communities, specifically through ethical storytelling and messaging.
Sarah has held many roles in nonprofit communications, including Associate Director of Marketing and Communications at United Way of Greater Nashville in Nashville, Tenn., and Marketing and Communications Coordinator at the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce in Bowling Green, Ky. She has editorial roles as Editor in Chief of Bowling Green Living and Copy Editor at the Bowling Green Daily News. Sarah received First Place in Best Feature Writing from the Columbia Scholastic Press Association.
Sarah graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Western Kentucky University. She lives in Atlanta with her husband and two children.
